Student Leap Cards:
Due to current Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions, the MSU Front Office is currently closed.
We do however hope to man the office one day per week in order to assist students with the renewal of their Student Leap Cards.
If you wish to renew your Student Leap Card you can visit our on-line store (email@example.com). Here you can follow the guidelines in order to have your card processed.
“Complete the on-line mobile application here and forward your order number AND a picture of your current Student ID to firstname.lastname@example.org” within 30 days of this purchase. If we do not receive the requested details, your Leap Card purchase will be refunded after 30 days.
Be advised, if you have completed the on-line mobile application, the order number you receive will only be accessible for seven days. We are advising students to complete their applications on a Monday (and follow the instructions above) to ensure your number will not be obsolete when the office is manned that week.
For your information; MSU or Student Leap Card are not responsible for cards lost in transit, you will have to apply and pay for a replacement card. MSU has been shipping Leap Cards since August with An Post and no cards have been lost to date.
Current Student Leap cards can still be used until 21st January 2021, after which time any outstanding balance can be transferred to the students New Student Leap Cards by contacting Leap Card directly (leapcard.ie) having purchased their new card. Agents are not permitted to transfer credit this year.
